yeah, this is a marvelous weight for a rim which can handle 600kg.

I am fed up of 18" because this is my everyday car and I am driving a lot.
The BBS 18" looks awesome... But tthey are not very comfortable in comparison to 17" with 215-50-17 (the biggest tire which fits in my archs I suppose )



I have "only" the SL600 brakes with 334x32 rotors, so I can drive some 17" wheels.
But the amg 3-pices do not fit anymore

I will keep you up to date concerning the lightweight rims...

Could you not go with a lower profile tyre ? My 8 x 17 Carlsson rims were et 30 like the Brabus you have and 225/45/17 all round was fine.
