Hi guys,

I live in Western Australia (believe it or not!), and stumbled onto this most excellent site whilst looking for information on the 190 2.3-16 Cosworth's.

My family has owned more Mercedes' than I can remember (560SEC, 500SEL, 280SEL, 190E, 300E to name a few), and I'm after my own 2.3-16. They're extremely rare in Australia - out of the 19 million people here, there's only 5 or 6 in the country. What I was wondering is, what're the basic performance upgrades you can perform? Besides tuning it to the best of it's natural ability (the right plugs, oil, etc)..

Obviously, Cosworth do some amazing things with the engines, but surely it can be improved on for not *too* much financial gain. I was thinking an exhaust (no bigger tham 2.5") after the extractors, and perhaps a K&N filter - but what else is there?

If someone could point me to off-the-shelf turbocharger/supercharger kits (though they're obviously going to be more expensive), that'd be great also.
