"euro" turn signals is something most people don't think exist. I think once you realize what they are they are a great touch. Have them in my Euro 200TD and Euro 190E 2.0.

Car will look amazing with Bosch Euro headlights.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, yeah I had the whole euro set up on my 190E and loved it. Man I miss that car, shes running around San Fran these days!

here she is out in the sun,got my custom German tag in as well today,LOL.

Edit, FedEx just showed up.....they seem to be in great shape!!!

Spring compressor came in to. I did go cheap on these and bought the "made in china " version so if I do not post anymore, you know what happened.

The headlight wiper delete panels came in today. Waiting on the 6 pin conversion plugs, Osram night breaker H4 bulbs, and paint kit for the delete panels before I can install the new Euro head lamps

This is coming along nicely. The 5 speed behind the M103 really transforms the car into a different animal. The manual along with the suspension mods make this nearly the same as my soon to be departed 87 300E. I'm selling all of the suspension bits but the manual is going to find a new home in my 300TE.

Thanks, I was just looking at your cars stance last night trying to get an idea of how mine will "sit". What size wheels do you have 16,17s?

This is my last photo before the car gets dropped and euro light upgrade. heading to the shop now.

Since nobody else wished you luck, I'll do it: Good luck with that spring compressor!

It seems that far too many folks do a 94-95 facelift. I am SO GLAD you are not one of them!

I have the same one, done several suspensions with no issues.

Sorry to hear it failed, where did it break?

The center shaft gives way at about 25% compressed. I tried several times but its like handling a bomb, very scary. I have a master mechanic/friend coming today to make sure im setting it up correct but I really think its the tool. I bought it second hand on ebay for $70 and the guy said he used it once. So not really sure. My buddy who is coming got the springs out of my W140 with standard C clamp compressors so I think he can handle it.

** edit he got it on and spring off. So one corner done.

Anyway, H4 bulbs and euro plug conversion kit came in today. Just waiting on paint kit for wiper delete panels and can wrap up the Euro headlight conversion.

H3 fog bulbs are in

This is turning into a major JOB. The front and rear suspensions have turned into a full refresh. I ordered new sport line sub frame rear bushings and standard sub frame front bushings. Also ordered new front and rear differential bushings. Also lower control arm and wheel carrier bushings. Im going to replace all the control arm pcs. as well while im here. This along with the 500E rear sway bar, new metal sway bar links/bushings, new shocks and springs is allot of work and that's just the rear.

I ordered new sway bar brackets for the front as mine are very thin and I imagine with the new Limo sway bar, will need to be replaced. Probably going to end up doing a front end rebuild also.

It's too late now, but for future reference "euro headlight plugs" are also taillights plugs in every car. Free from your local junkyard.

So the front sway bar brackets came in and they seem much beefier then the originals. Glad I got them. Ready to button up the front end today and turn my attention to the rear. Need to R/R allot of items back there. Here are some various pictures I took yesterday.

The new front sway bar brackets

New front strut mount/rubber dust boots in place

New front spring pads (1 bump) in place on the H&R lowering springs

Spring and shock in place, just need to insert and torque a couple bolts

front shocks/spring with W124 limo sway bar, bushings and new brackets are done

Original rear plastic sway bar link compared with new 300TE metal link

I was one of the first to do the wagon links on the sedan. You'll need to swap the lower bushings from the a good plastic link to the wagon's.

The transformation is looking good.

:-) neil

PS: you'll see my C36-powered wagon in "The Bible" . . .

thanks yeah we actually shaved down the lower bushings and inner metal sleeve on a belt sander tonight to the same width/size as the plastic link set up. Worked fine.

Also got the wheel carrier bushings out (see pics below), think they needed replacement? Thanks to a fellow forum user for the Baum tool rental! Pressing out LCA bushings tomorrow and them rear diff. and last but not least rear sub frame, then I get to pc. everything back together along with the multi link suspension arms for the wheels.

And the new ones ready to go in today....

Finally picked up the rest of the goodies today.

rear control arm inner bushings

Control arm kit with hardware, had to order the sleeves as they do not come with the OEM hardware packs...

Front and rear differential bushings

Rear sub frame front bushings

Rear sub frame Sportline rear bushings (only 1 showed up so far), I made a mistake and ordered the bushings alone without the needed hardware kit as these wont work with the standard bushing hardware. There is a kit that comes complete with all the hardware and that is part # 202-350-34-08.
