So a couple cosmetic things addressed today. The bumper impact strips came in. Mine were old and faded and the front one was damaged due to a fender bender or something very light hitting it. The bumper was fine just the strip. So this was a nice little way to clean up the front and rear. I need the license plate delete piece for the front strip as the old one is faded and I don't like the look,so will do the solid filler piece.














Also the new shock/strut mounts came in. Everything I'm using is factory OE Mercedes. Well besides the shocks and springs that is.

Rear 500E 18MM sway bar w/bushings and the metal upgraded 300TE wagon sway bar links came in today. Still waiting on the front limo sway bar.

Really nice project coming along very well.

Some 034/036 horns would be a good upgrade. The 93 and later 034/036 horns both bolt in front similar to how these original ones do. These original horns just don't do the job.

Dropped in a new air filter today. It had a nice clean filter in it but it wasn't a factory filter and looked like a very cheep no name brand .

Ok finally getting somewhere. The missing pc. of the puzzle made it today. I was starting to worry as I heard these were NLA but my dealer said it was avail. First time, box showed up empty to the dealership, second box was lost by shipping company, 3rd time this showed up! The W124 "limo" front sway bar! Man is it thick (that's what she said)!!





So here is the complete set up ready to go in. Im just waiting on my spring compressor tool to get here and I also ordered new spring pads for both front and back. #1s front (smallest) #2s rear as I hear the rear will be lowered more by the springs than the front. I can always adjust if not correct now that I have the spring tool.

Got the darker euro amber blinker lenses in today. These are Bosh OE parts not Depo stuff. Waiting on Bosch euro headlamps as well. Going to do the wiper delete panels also to clean up the front end.
