717.000 transmission part 2.

So 1st gear has given out in the .000 tranny and it's time to get serious about adapting a T5 to my M110. We started gathering info and decided to use the Mustang main case for it's tight B/H bolt pattern and a Camaro tailshaft to get the 23" I need from the backend of the bell to the centerline of the shifter to keep it in it's stock location. With a 199mm Mustang input shaft and a 35mm thick adapter I'm within a 1/4". Camaro T5's are angled 17deg toward the driver so an adapter is necessary to mate the rear tranny mount if you want the shifter to be level. That's also another reason the Mustang main case is necessary, to keep the oil fill hole level. 93 and up Camaro T5's use the Ford B/H bolt pattern but you still run into the angle problem. To get to the point, I really don't want to re-invent the wheel if someone has already made this swap so any info appreciated.
