Kleeman kompressor
Kleeman claims that you can gain 60 hp by adding one of their kompressor on a 4 cylinder engine.... So I am wondering few things:
1. Would it be possible, without to many modification, to install one on a 190E 2.5-16v engine ? 2. Are the 2.5-16v and the 2.5 SLK engine similar? 3. A Kleeman kompressor can fit very easely on a I4 SLK engine so what do you guys think? |

You may want to check with Kleemann for this application. Don't think they make them for your chassis.

Anything is possible! But, you'd have to build a custom intake, mounting brackets, etc. I'm not aware of any company that makes a supercharger specifically for the 16V lineup.
Jim Villers added a kompressor from an SLK to his 2.3-16V. Here's the thread: Installing a supercharger on a 190E 2.3-16 Good luck!

Daniel mentioned that I installed a SLK Eaton supercharger on my 2.3-16. Tahke a look at my Pictures Page.
Of course I just blew the engine .... Check my latest thread "16V went to the track .... did not return"
