Hi I am a newbie to this boad, I've been on the tech and detailing forums. My 99 C280 is a pretty good performer, I added a K&N filter and that seems to give it more midrange acceleration. I had the MB tech reset the trans back to default and I drove it harder and it shifts pretty quick now. any other bolt ons to up performance a bit more. Someone on another board suggested that you can go to your dealer and have them use the Mercedes Benz Star Diagnostic tool to reset the ecu for 93 octane gas, supposedly there is quite an improvement overall. Seeing that where I live 93 and even 94 octane is plentiful, I am tempted to have this done, any opinions on this mod?
