cricket sound ?
I am getting a noise during driving and it sometimes continues after shutting down engine for a few seconds. This noise sounds exactly like crickets under the car. I suspect it may have something to do with the self-leveling suspension. I know it is not the heat shields on exhaust.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks for sharing. Marc |

I don't have the crickets sound on my car...
I'd suggest reviewing the exhaust hanger/ underside heat shielding, ...also could be a loose bolt/ or missing bolt on the exhaust connectors hope this helps and let us know what turns out -fad |

noise
If the noise is coming from the front of your car, in the engine bay, it is likely that your belt tensioner is the culprit.
If you are saying that when you turn off the ignition the sound continues to emit from underneath the car, in the rear, you may have a leak in your SLS system (?); do you notice any fluids on the ground, underneath the vehicle (in the front or rear)? |
