201 Evolution problems

Hi can anyone tell me the correct setting procedure for the variable height front and rear suspension the car sits a little high at the rear at the moment. I know that a set load should be added to the car before adjustment but dont know what this should be. What height setting should the adjustment be done at low profile, normal, or high? any help would be appreciated. My other fault is with the heated front seats the passenger seat is permenently on the low setting the switch as one light illuminated but will not turn off or go up to high, the drivers seat refuses to do anything the switch does not illuminate at all!. I have tried swopping switches which made no difference all fuses in the main fuse box appear ok, does anyone have a curcuit diagram for the heated seats.. Thanks LINDS

Height Adjustment

I believe your Evolution has the same Self Leveling Suspension configuration as the 300TE Estate, 190E 16V, 500E, and as well as the 300SE 6.3.

When I adjusted the rear height of my 500E (I wanted to lower the rear), I increased the length of the turnbuckle link that connects the SLS Valve to the Rear Sway Bar. You can search this Forum for more information. Keywords: SLS Adjustment.

Regarding your Arse Warmer problem, I don't have a clue. However, try asking the same Q on the Tech section of this Forum as well as doing a search.

Good luck!

thanks for your help but the Evo as front and rear hydraulic suspension with switchable low/track normal/road and high/access mode so its obviously a bit more involved than the rear TE SLS system Thanks Linds
