I am looking for a nice pedal kit for the CLK.
Unfortunately the AMG CLK55 does not come with cool pedals like the SLK or the new SL. My motivation is not so much looks as it is finding a good way to protect my deadpedal area that is just carpet and is not covered by mats.

I picked up a set of SLK pedals for the 500E. I could do the same with the CLK but am looking for a good cover for the deadpedal.

Any ideas, suggestions.

I've seen Brabus pedals for sale on e-bay, but I can't recall if there was a cover for the dead pedal.

Is anyone in Pompano Beach, FL with a CLK?

We could do a group buy if there is enough interest and get someone in the area to offer their car as a pattern source.

Do a search on karl k in the CLK55 forum over on www.mbworld.org

He has a W208 CLK55 and lives in South Florida (I'm not sure how close to Pompano Beach, however).

Depending upon $$$, I'd be in for a set

Just received an email from the mfr....

We can make a set of pedals (gas, brake, clutch, and footrest) for your car.

Please note that our pedals will match the original shape of the factory pedals including the outline and curvature. Our goal is to provide a product that looks like it came from the factory or better.

Pricing is as follows:

1) Basic pedal kit (smooth with countersunk holes gas, anti slip with countersunk holes brake/clutch pedals) $99.
2) Flat footrest kit (smooth with countersunk holes) $39.
3) Flat footrest kit (anti slip with countersunk holes ) $59.
4) Add anti-slip engraving to gas pedal $15.

Our kits include mounting instructions and stainless steel fasteners.

So I guess the price is somewhere in the $138 - $173 depending on smooth or anti-slip

They have done a few CLK's.....

The smooth gas pedal is a carry over from our original product which was exclusively for Ferrari cars.

The traditional look from Ferrari has always been a smooth gas pedal.

However, most non Ferrari customers prefer the gas pedal and footrest to match the brake pedal.

Regarding patterns for your car we have already made numerous pedal sets for the CLK.

I have attached some photos for you to review.

Please note that we can engrave anything you like ( for eample your initials, the make of the car etc...) in any of the pedals as shown on the engraved brake pedal photo.

I wonder if they would do the AMG logo....probably not.

I think it is much cheaper than Brabus....

There is a discount available, it requires the order be invoiced to one person and shipped to one location.
$600 minimum but the discount is 20%.

I suggest that if anyone is interested in the Texas area, we could place an order and have things delivered to one location, then have a "pedal party GTG"

I will probably order sets for both my cars.
