Stock motors are good

My impression is that there really aren’t many worthwhile engine modifications. There also aren’t many worthwhile exhaust modifications. The typical changes are wheels, tires, suspension, and maybe the differential on some of the V8s.

Unless that intake is drawing outside air, save your $100 for something else.

well, i can say the stuff ive done has done something. Custom intake, custom exaust on my 1993 400e. 14.8 @ 93 mph first time to the track, stock diff, michelin pilots (not sports). Road and track got it 15.4 stock, so i am glad with what ive done. There are always worthwhile modifications. There is always room for improvement on any car, just depends on how much money you have

most of my performance fix is sated by my right foot. which also controls my ABS, traction control and some anti skid with help from arms, brain and the gyroscopic thing in our ears.

a 260E is not a car you drive for fun. a BMW 2002 is.
