Oil Pressure 280sl 1984

I chenged the oil on my 280SL W107 (1984); I used 10W-40 shell oil;
It's normal that the oil pressure check are on "2 1/4" when the motor turn but the car is stop?tank you for help and sorry for my bad english (I'm italien)

If your oil gauge is marked 1, 2, 3, these marks are in "Bar" of pressure, with 3 bar being the maximum possible. With the engine running but the car stopped your oil pressure of 2 1/4 bar seems to be very good. If the gauge rises from 2 1/4 to 3 when you drive then you are OK.

And, your english is just fine, it is much better than my italian.
