exhaust/tire questions
What aftermarket company makes a good quality mufflerfor a 1988 560 sl
that is close to original ? Mine is getting tired and I don't want a noise problem Also did anyone try 215-60-15 as a change in tire size on their 560sl?

I believe the OEM muffler is made by Eberspaecher. The two third party exhaust systems that I've heard are the best are Timevalve (stainless steel) and Bosal. I recently purchased a Bosal muffler for my SEL (haven't installed it yet). It comes with a lifetime warranty.
Not rock solid information, but it's a starting point.
