73 450SL Clock
What is the easiest way to remove the clock from the dash? I downloaded an article on how to repair it and I am going to try!
Thanks, Chaosmosis undefined |

Chaosmosis,
If you're talking about the clock in the centre of the dash (replaced with eyeball vent after '73) then it just pulls out. It helps if the radio is out and you can get your fingers up under the dash to press it out from behind. It has a rubberised flange around it like the instrument panel which provides friction to hold it in. Then theres an electrical connector and thats it. I took one out last weekend and I was surprised how easy it was. Actually I took the whole dash out as well and that was pretty straight forward too. Of course putting the new dash back in might be a different story. Regards, Daryl
