Aaron,,, Happy that everything went well. That is one beautiful SL, but I have been wondering,,,, does the drivers door window go down. Always puzzles me why someone takes a picture like that.

Yeah, I asked the seller the same question. Seems to work fine. The Ant. mast was stuck, but a few hours spent disassembling and lubricating it solved that. I'll have to take a better picture of my own here shortly. Other than the Ant., the only problem I've had so far is that the $#%! hardtop is stuck on (rear catch problem of course). I think I'm condemned to have to deal with this on every SL I own . A trivial concern though. Otherwise I couldn't be happier .

Stuck hard top is a common issue, lots of posts on how to solve it. I can only say that while you are moving your top around, you might want to put a cloth between the leading edge of the top to protect the deck of your car....I've seen lost of decks with scratches from botched hard-top removals. Congradulations on your new SL.
