sl500 burlwood console restoration

A while back I remember reading a thread on one or two companies specializing in restoring cracked or worned out wood consoles. Does anyone remembers or knows who does this type of work? The cost of a new console is pretty high. Thank You Kindly, PEP

I was very happy with their work - although, they matched to the "original" color of the wood and not to the rest of my older, darker wood - which is just as well, because the original MB clearcoat really darkens with age - see my website. In my case, it wasn't that much cheaper than eBaying a new aftermarket piece, though.
