A Good Day
After 3+hours of detailing Saturday, today it paid off. I was fortunate enough to take 1st place in my class, Misc Sports Car, at a local show with over 220 cars registered of differing vintages and makes.
Yep, it was a good day...

Proper picture is attached...(I hope) Rats, only pic I have is too large, and I'm on the road this week with limited resources to edit... will re-size later and post. Sorry! (65KB...too small I think!)

The urban legend as told to me was that when a MB dealership or authorized body shop repaints, they move the emblem to the right side. Mine is the second I have seen that way. The first car I saw was repainted by a MB dealer's bodyshop in Atlanta, as I recall. I do not know who or where the respray was done on my car...
It is quite possible the body shop just messed up in its replacement (more probable reason)... I have thought about moving it, but don't want to tempt fate...
