Horn Contact Brush removal
The contacts that touch the steering wheel were broken when I pulled off the wheel and the horn stopped working. Can someone tell me how to remove the brush contact unit from the steering shaft, the cd doesn't give any info on its removal?

Assuming you have the wheel off and airbag disconnected you should see 3 or 4 little #1 philips screws. Thats it.

That takes off the black plastic cover, how does the contact unit come out. Does it just pull out, have a screw in the center of it, or do I have to undo the four allen screws in the plate it rests in?

Did this yesterday, the contact just pulls right out, but you have to cut the wires that attach to the combination switch. Removed the steering wheel, loosened the steering column, removed the combo switch boot and combo switch, replaced the contact brush unit, ran the wires and reattached everything. Yeah, my horn works again. More work than I would have expected.
