Congratulations!

That is a very classy looking car you have there. I like the color combinations. Black wheel covers and tan dash!

just search my name in the SL forum and you will find many many threads on the ol gal. From engine to interior, I have had most of it apart and back again

Top has been off till this weekend, and going on some longer trips, so hard top on for now, a little quieter on long trips and speeds at 85-90.
Thanks everyone

Just great

Looks terrific. I love that color combo. (Slightly prejudiced, though, since it's just like mine) Gotta feel good to have it all done.

Awesome!!

The 107 spells class, and yours spells super class. That is one beautiful car. With all the work you put in her, she will last for another 30 years plus.

Thanks Elau and others , you all are too kind, makes me blush
I am going to take her on my first real distance hiway cruise tomorrow, I have been out in the garge making sure everthing is just so....
I will let you all know the result. Knowing that I have adjusted, fooled with and just about touched every bolt in the engine bay (and beyind) has got me a little nervous, but at least if I break down I will know where to look.
As a buddy of mine tells me ......just drive it ... so here goes.
wish me luck

all I can say is wow, 4 hours at 80+ and was so much fun, very solid. My new window seals have cut the wind noise, but I still have some issue, but nothing I can't live with.
The other deal is it looks like I have a leaking injector and its not the hose.
I just had all these refurbished so it looks like it may have just gone south on me. Pain in my butt as the whole fuel rail will need to come off to replace ( I guess) .
Pete - if you are ever in Kentucky - look me up, I'd be glad to show off Pearl...

That is the nicest one I have seen in a long time, hearty congrats.

I wouldn't sweat the injector, it's not too hard to remove the rail, the only caveat I can think of is to pull the fuel pump fuse or relay and spin the motor over to avoid being drenched in fuel.
