AC on '79 450SL
Hi all.. I have a '79 450SL that needs a new AC system. What is the advice you have? Should I convert the the R134? It is possible to have a long-term working AC with this system? Are there replacement systems that I should consider? And what is the approximate cost I should expect from a competent MB specialty repair shop assuming the compressor needs replacing and some vacuum leaks thrown in?
I'd like to hear your experiences with your AC systems...
