Daimler Benz and GM announce joint plans to build new sub compact Sports Car
Detroit 2009 Auto Show. Daimler Benz AG and General Motors have announced an agreement to jointly build and market a new sub compact sports car designed to appeal to wealthy evironmentally conscious consumers. The new Smarvette will go on sale in Europe and the USA beginning April 1st.
