Help! CLK Wheels on 500SL

Hi Guys,

Need some help locating wheel spacers or short lugs for my 1984 500SL. I am using 1999 320CLK wheels and the original lugs for the rear are to long to use with the CLK wheels. Does Mercedes make a shorter lug or where can I buy spacers? I need about 1/2 inch clearance. I appreciate any suggestions...

Thanks,

Alex

Just run a search on Google for Mercedes spacers. The rims look great!

The short lug bolts used on the steel wheels and the aluminum wheels that use hubcaps are the correct length.

Yup. Those are pretty short. Spacers are on ebay too. Make sure they're hubcentric.

I like these wheels also, they are the only modern MB wheels that look good on an older car, IMO - but "dressier" chrome bolts exist, or at least plastic chromed caps, which are better and last longer than you would think. I've had them one a car for 3 years, no problems.

I agree... like they were made for the 107. It's a great look.
