Friday Night

My Friday night this week: Work until 10pm & then rip the dash out.

In life: Drink great beer & work on great cars. Tonight: a French Farmhouse Ale & my euro '72 350SL.

Things have been rough lately. Cars & life. But somedays..., you get to drive with the top down.

lol! Thanks. Most of the interior will be a looker from about 5ft once I get some new floor mats & a dash cover.

Once I get her washed & waxed the exterior will be a looker from about 20ft. If the car is passing you at 70mph.

Own you a beer for that one, man. Crappy console are going for $300 on fleaBay these days...

Hey, nobody has a source for early R107 trunk mats do they? I'm talking pre-carpet trunks. Mine was like really really dirty shattered peanut brittle. And is now in a thousand disgusting pieces.

I found a place that does custom mats and they'd do one if they had the right dimensions etc. Does anyone have like a mock-up/plans of what one for that? Mine is in too many pieces to properly measure...

I would like to find a mat as well. Mine is in but has holes in it , and is brittle, if you find a source, let me know, I'd love to get one as well
Oh if I'm ever in your neck of the woods, I'll take that beer...!

I'll let you know what I find on the trunk mat. I haven't found ANYWHERE that is currently making one, but I have a place that may make me one...

Come over anytime, melted!

A tracing would help immensely. But I know what you mean about not getting it out in one piece. I think the biggest challenge in making one is the pocket that goes down in the passenger side footwell...

Is there just have a hole in the rubber mat over the spare tire bump?
