Brighter Bulb for W107 Dash Turn Indicator
Hi everyone,
Was wondering if anyone has found a direct interchange bulb that is brighter than stock for the dash turn signal indicators on a W107. With the top down or in bright sunlight it is impossible to see. Does anyone know if a higher wattage bulb will cause problems with the bad bulb fault module (or whatever it's official name is) in a 560SL? |

Just leave your turn signal on all the time, like the rest of us deaf old farts.
Get lots of waves that way. |

Hi If you are really serious and you are going to pull the cluster to change the lamp then you should look into a audible mechanism so you can hear when the turn signals are on. The old joke here is that you can hear them at Midnight in your garage with the engine off. Most of us would like to hear them. Best of luck. I would like to know what you find workable. Jack

Hi All Good News tonight!!!!
So over the years I have read several posts trying to either make the dash lamps brighter or of some way of actually hearing the signals when they are in use. ( except at midnight in your garage.) Well I would like to hear from anyone who is still interested in having this happen to their 107, almost any year. Please reply or send me a personal message. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jack |
