Did cars pre 8/81 have EGR?
When was your car built? Its usually on the drivers side exhaust manifold.

To be honest I don't know if my car have this valve, I hear some technician that the EGR valve probably is causing my car problems.
it is a 1981 380SL V8 Gas, and the problem I have is that the motor lose the power when I drive at high speed, at low speed on the city works normally, but a high speed lose power I push the gas pedal but not responds, turn off the motor, starts again after some minutes and work normally again, do you have an Idea of what can cause this?? |

Yes even pre '81 models had them. The last 117.982 engines in '75 had one on US models..
