Did cars pre 8/81 have EGR?
When was your car built? Its usually on the drivers side exhaust manifold.

To be honest I don't know if my car have this valve, I hear some technician that the EGR valve probably is causing my car problems.
it is a 1981 380SL V8 Gas, and the problem I have is that the motor lose the power when I drive at high speed, at low speed on the city works normally, but a high speed lose power I push the gas pedal but not responds, turn off the motor, starts again after some minutes and work normally again, do you have an Idea of what can cause this??

Yes even pre '81 models had them. The last 117.982 engines in '75 had one on US models..
