88 560SL runs too rich...
My 88 560SL gets terrible gas mileage. Less than 10MPG.
I just checked the duty cycle (pins 2 &3) and found it was running at 25% to 30%, way too rich. Went to adjust the mixture screw and found no rubber plug and no 3mm Allen head. In its place, it seems that a steel plug was hammered in. I'm hoping its an anti tamper plug. If so it looks like I need to drill a small diameter hole in the steel plug, then screw in a small screw so I have something to pull it out.
