Picking up my new 560sl in the morning
Well the search is complete. I have a deal on a 1988 Mercedes 560sl, 1 family owned with 105,000 miles. And it has had its heads r+r and timing chain/guides/tensioner done with oem parts in 2007 at 103k.
Don't worry I had a PPI done with only minor items found. Valve cover gaskets, front shocks, odo gears, tierod, a/c still r12 never converted but blowing warm. More pictures to come! (these were sent by the seller)

It is great so far!
Only issue I need to get it taken in for is the climate control. Fan is only blowing on defrost?? Also, odometer stopped in early 2014, he took it to a mechanic who said he replaced the gears, and it still did not work the mechanic saying it was electrical, is this possible?
