Recently, my car starting idling around 3500 rpm regardless of being cold or running for a while. Any thoughts on the problem and/or the fix.

High Idle 1983 380SL
As soon as I start the car the idle takes off to around 3500-4000 rpm and will not come down. If I attempt to put the car in gear, it immediately takes off and almost impossible to stop the car. It will not idle down at all.
I let the car set for 24 hours, I attempted to start it again cold, however it immediately idled at 3500 rpm. |

your auxiliary air valve is most likely non functioning , search the forum, ,many threads on it .
Also suspect - rule out any air/vacuum leaks , check all lines

Could be simple. If I unplug the two wire connector (blk/yel & blk) on the Idle Control Valve, my idle also shoots way up. Check your connection and integrity of the wires.

At cold start the idle control valve is open. The idle would be high but not this high. More likely it is either the OVP or idle control unit. OVP can be bad or the fuse on top blown. Try twisting the ICU.
Location of the various components can be found in the online manual. Model 107 |

I’m studying nursing, and it’s been a real challenge to keep up with all the assignments lately. I’ve got a research paper due next week, and I’m completely stuck on choosing a topic. I’ve tried brainstorming, but nothing feels solid enough. Can anyone recommend where I could find inspiration or professional help?

I get it, nursing assignments can be overwhelming. One resource I’ve found super helpful is the blog at https://www.nursingpaper.com/blog/nursing-research-paper-topics/ They have tons of ideas for nursing research paper topics. A while back, I was stuck with a similar assignment, and this site helped me narrow down a good topic. Another option is getting professional assistance. I’ve used Nursing Paper before, and they’re legit. They helped me write a paper on patient care ethics, and it was spot-on. What’s your current area of focus? Maybe I can help narrow things down.

Thanks for the link! I’m focusing on pediatric care right now, but I’ll definitely check that blog for inspiration. Appreciate the recommendation for Nursing Paper too—I might reach out to them for guidance. Any tips on presenting data effectively in a research paper?

I turned to Rentforevent for uplighting at a gala dinner, and it completely changed the vibe of the venue. The lights were versatile, with customizable colors that enhanced the overall mood beautifully. Their team gave excellent advice on placement to achieve the best effect. For anyone wanting to elevate their event with lighting, check this: https://rentforevent.com/la/lighting-rental/uplighting-rental/ My tip: Experiment with light settings beforehand to see what works best with your decor.
