12volt drain coming from Tachometer

I've discovered a paradisiac draw of a whopping 12.6 volts. Pulled the fuse that feeds the tail lights, interior lights, warning modular, antenna. After diconecting all the easiest items I removed the dashboard gage cluster. When I pulled the plug out of the tachometer the paradisiac draw dropped to 1.67 volts. Where do I go next
