K-Jet MASSACRE in 83 Euro 280SL
Hey all,
First post over here, I’ve been on the diesel boards for my W123s for 15 years but this I have to share. I posted in classified looking for a replacement part but had to show you guys this lunacy. I’m working on a clients 83 euro 280SL (M110.990) suffering from rough and erratic idle, stalling, no low end shift..because there’s no fuel getting delivered under 2500 rpm. Long story short… opened up the k jet to clean as the sensor plate was sticky and looks like a PO tried to clean this with a rotary tool or a jackhammer or mallet and rock. (Maybe trying to “smooth” out that hairline?) Lord almighty. ![]()
