Dirty Intake
on my 96 SL320 I noticed that when I look down the throttle barrell, moving the butterfly open that there is some icky stuff down there, a little oil has accumulated, probably from the crankcase breather and it is not exactly as clean as I would like it. Is there anyway to clean this intake area without removing it? I used to use carb cleaner on my old cars, but would that be safe? or would it cause that engine light to come on?
