FS: 190E COMPLETE EURO CLIMATE CONTROL (CONSOLE + HEATER BOX), great for conversion

Hi all:
I'm selling a complete euro climate control on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8038316329 This is a great way to eliminate the complex USA automatic climate control and also get dual zone climate control at the same time. I am currently doing the conversion on my car but I had purchased two complete sets at different times so I am selling the one I am not using.
Thanks.

What's the reserve at? And it will fit an 87? The style looks a bit different from mine... shape of console-wise.

Reserve is at $140. The console shape is a bit different, and it should fit all 190E cars. If you want the other style console that goes all the way down, I have a lead on one but they are available cheaply on UK and German ebay.

hey man, long time no see. how did the conversion go? You should post your results on the Rev. The general consensus there is that it cannot be done. post on www.190revolution.net mang!

I think the opinons were that it wasn't "practical" rather than impossible, given the time/cost factor versus any improvement or difference.

Darn! Just missed it.

Hello,
I have a 1990 190E, Japanese specs 2l, automatic. It (of course) has the Euro A/C. I agree wholeheartedly with your description of the beauty of this simple and efficient system; however, it isn't without its own shortcomings.
I have been trying to find diagrams, vacuum schematics and operating specifications without any luck and thought you may be able to steer me in the right direction.
There's a ton of stuff around on the North American A/C but it hasn't helped me solve a problem with a hissing driver's side heater control.
I may also need a replacement vacuum switch: any spares?
I disassembled and cleaned the rubber components with a lightweight silicone lubricant (everything looked in good condition) but it still hisses away quietly in any position but "off". The passenger side heater control is always silent.
It is possible this control is designed to "vent off" some vacuum pressure depending upon the position of the dial, but I cannot know this without a manual.

I've assumed a lot in writing you like this, but find I am running out of placed to look.

Season's Greetings,

Dan Tonner
