WTB: Solex 4A1
In need of a Solex 4A1 carb.
Needs to be complete and straight, no warping of any of the 3 sections. Please PM with your price, I will ask for pictures so if you could have some ready, I would appreciate it. Thanks

That carb sucks dude, look for the conversion kits to the Holley 4300 series. They're only 430cfm or so, but flow plenty for the M110.

Ugh, you are right, I really hate this thing, I kinda want to convert it to fuel injection but I have no idea what that is going to take even if it is possible...
Holley eh? I will look around.

I bought my 4360 for $40 on ebay, the spreadbore -> squarebore adapter plate is $20 on summit or jegs. I just need the time to complete it. I just want it to idle.
Best EFI would be a GM TBI setup using the 4.3L TBI head. If you can figure out how to use the distributor, let me know. That's all that is holding me back.

Wow! You got it cheap, I hope this kit gets this car back on the road though.
Maybe a Pentronix distributor unit?
