W123 wagon front sway bar - refinished

Need to get a FSB for a w123 wagon out of the garage.

It's been powder coated half-gloss black. Ends are in great shape.

Would like to get $150.

FWIW this is a GREAT upgrade for w123 sedans. One of the first mods I did on my 85. Really tightens up the front end, even if you werent going to lower or do any other mods.

Is the sway bar still available? Do you know which diameter it is? Pics? Really interested! Thanks.

Yes, it is a 25mm wagon bar.

Very nice powder coat job as well. Highpoint powder coating was the shop that did all my work. They've done work for many mbca Austin members and were featured on Jesse James show a few years ago. I happen to be flying out to San Jose next week and can put this on the plane.

I would just need you to convert the oversize package fee. Coming out Thursday morning of your willing to meet me at the airport.

You can buy a couple of Fun Noodles at the dollar store and use that. I have shipped a few that way and that will cut down on shipping by a bunch.

What, just cut them open, slip over the bar then tape them back up?

And I just check the dimensions on it, LxWxH, it totals in at 61", just shy of the 62" limit for large items. It should check under the plane for no additional cost... This could be Juanesoto's lucky day.

Yes, split the fun noodle with a razor knife. I am thinking you will use 2 or 3. They cost $1 buck at the dollar store, but that is seasonal down here. Then, wrap clear tape around and around , top to bottom. Make sure you double fun noodle the ends. I am thinking shipping will be under $25 and that is from east coast to west coast. Not bad in my book.

Well, if we can work out a drop at the airport in SJC, then we're only talking the cost of the noodles...

Hi guys! Sorry it took me so long to get back. I was out of town with no computer access. Andrew, I saw your email. I'm really looking forward to do business with you.

By the way, let me know if I can do anything for you while you are in Costa Rica. I'll be happy to assist!

Ok. So I misread his location as San Jose, CA. Not San Jose, CR...

Anyone have experience shipping to Costa Rica? Everything I've tried around $500...

Shipping directly to Costa Rica is not worth the effort. I have a shipping address in Miami, FL, where you can send me the parts and I'll take care of bringing them to CR. I sent you an email so we can make the arrangements.

Actually this is the most common way in which people living here bring stuff from US. There are several courier companies that give their customers a physical address in US. Every week, the couriers consolidate the packages of several of their costumers and buy free space in airplanes' cargo compartments of flights coming to CR. It's fast, cheap (compared to USPS, Fedex, DHL) and quite safe. Just a tip in case any of the forum members needs to ship things to CR.

Sold and gone. Forgot to get pics of how I packed it. Poll noodles barely fit over the bar, but with tape and some other foam wrap, I got it done. Supplies and UPS ground were right at $40 for those looking to ship a sway bar in the future.

Maybe Juan can post some pictures once he receives it.
