Wanted! Early W123 rear seatbelt

I need a rear seatbelt like the one pictured. This is from a 77 240D. Let me know what you have.

I probably have these. Let me check my parts stash this weekend.

Still looking. I need this pretty quick since my back seat is out of the car and I don't want to remove it again.

Apologies - I actually forgot to check. I'm not sure if there's a difference left to right. If so, what do you need? I'll try to remember to check for this tonight.

I checked and I found them. I compared them side by side and it looks like driver and passenger side are identical.

These were in a parts car with a rusty floor that sat in a field for 15 years. So, there's surface rust on the metal parts. That would need to be cleaned up. Also, I'd recommend extending the belts and washing the webbing.

Didn't have a price in mind. Make an offer if interested.

Those are pretty rusty looking. My car is hardly pristine but I think I am going to keep looking. Thanks though.

The whole car was pretty rough. I completely understand, though. I'd probably look for better ones if I was in your position, too.

I'll most likely keep these around as spares for myself.

Soak those in a bucket of molasses for 10-14 days and the rust will be gone. I've done this with tons of "found" tools and old motorcycle parts through the years and it works great. It's never damaged paint, chrome or plastic parts. Upon removal, wash with soapy water and apply a thin coat of oil or primer/paint to keep from rusting immediately.

I really don't want to soak the belt webbing in molasses. If I ever get around to using these, I'll probably just hit these with a Brillo pad for a few minutes.

Actually, I know almost nothing about molasses. All I know (think?) is that it's sticky and sweet. Even then, water soluble or not, I still would think that it would be a bear to clean out of seatbelt webbing.
