Crap Oil Cooler Lines needed, OM617

I'm curious if anyone has any lying around; prefer the rubber to be toast. I'll need both, just the metal bits, considering building AN-fitted hoses. '83 300 TD is the vehicle in question. 81401 is my ZIP for the shipping quote. OH, and a cooler too I think, but it should be a good one if available.

TIA

Haven't heard from the previous poster; I'm keen on finding just a pair of lines.

Anyone?

I can try and grab the ones off of my brother's parts 300SD next time I am home but it may be a while before I can be back.

I know the oil filter housing is different, are the lines different too? Also, what time frame are you thinking/hoping?

Actually you are right. I was thinking of the transmission cooler lines for some reason.

Looks like the pair I was sent were for an SD... I need the upper one for a TD instead, upper as in the upper one at the filter housing. Anyone local? Just need the long metal part, nothing else.

I am guessing here, but I think the only difference is the length of the rubber hose. I am planning this same thing for my SD, but the hard lines themselves look the same as my TD.

I was sent a pair of lines, had AN fittings welded on and had them powder coated, and then tried to install them. The top one Will Not fasten in all three places (two holding brackets and at the filter housing). Why? The line I have comes out and then turns 90* down. The factory piece has two 45* bends. Why does this matter? The steering box is closer on the w123 vs. the w126. No way to make this one work, none.

Only thing I am assuming here is that the line I have is from a 126; it May come from something else.

PS- I believe I have the right line coming now.
