Feeler: Getting rid of some W123 parts cars....280TE, 280E euros

The crusher monster is getting hungry again.
Just sent a pair of W114 coupes off to a new life, next up is a pair of W123 chassis.

Car #1: W123 82 280E euro. Light hit on right front, headlight, grille, bumper, fender, hood, radiator all damaged. doors, trunk lid in good shape. Missing CIS fuel system components, and some engine auxiliaries. Good euro rear bumper, USA taillights, chrome bumperettes under taillights, and a black velour interior. Interior is in decent shape, with the usual tear on the outside driver's bolster. No rear headrests. Velour door cards set up for manual windows. Manual sunroof and HVAC.

Car #2: W123 79 280TE euro. No bumpers or lights. Lots of rust, it was a local beach car all it's life. Light brown (lighter than brazil, darker than palomino) interior with cloth inserts, non split second seat, no third seat. Seats in good condition.

Both cars have around 130K one owner miles, but have been sitting for at least five years. Both have bundts. Time to get rid of parts cars for cars I no longer own......

I'm fighting stage four cancer, so I don't have the energy to spend a lot of time pulling and packing big stuff. The big stuff will necessitate local pickup, but if you're local, prices will be pretty cheap!
Both are going to the crusher monster soon.

Jim

Hey, thanks!

Two years on, I'm optimistic. The two remaining areas of concern seem to have a slow growth rate, and are fairly low activity on a PET/CT scan. The radiation was a drag, though. Really killed my energy.

In addition to the regular oncologist, I've engaged a Nurse Advocate to manage my care, and she has me going to a cutting edge naturopathic oncoligist. Can't have enough people looking at you when you have cancer....

Anyway, PM me if there is something you might want. I can bring it up to the barn in PA for you (like usual).

Jim

I will pray for you as well! I have not gone through the program I am about to recommend, but I believe in the man that offers it... You might go on to herbdoc.com and look at his 'incurables' program. He has had Many success stories. As for me, I had IBS before I got on his bowel cleanse program. I am MUCH better now. --I truly believe most diseases are because of toxicity, the foods we eat, not enough exercise, etc... Anyway, I am far from an expert, just thought I might offer it to you! God Bless.

Is that what you have?

No, sorry. Seats are not folding, the center has a fabric print, the bolsters are MB Tex. The early W123 had MB Tex bolsters, the later cars had fabric all the way across.

Thanks for the quick response. The coupe picture was used as an example only. I also have an 83' Euro 240TD with incorrectly re-upholstered front seats. Yes, I knew that pre 9/82 bolsters are as you said, but I didn't want to assume without asking.

Thank you!
Gary

Hi Jim,

Best of luck in your fight! Do either of those 280TE's have a tachometer/rev counter or are they both clocks?
