W123 240D 4 Speed Manual Transmission Swap - $800 Asheville NC

Swap removed from a 1983 240D w/ 250k. Had recent clutch master cylinder and slave from the looks of it. They appear to work, and the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel also appear usable as is. I never drove the car so can't guarantee the synchros in this box, but I shifted it by hand and it feels fine.
Have a bag full of hardware, bolts, nuts, clips, etc.
Not totally sure on how I'd ship this yet but FedEx Ground may be a possiblity. Can meet a few hundred miles of Asheville NC $800obo

blackmerc:

You started a dialog for a pedal set in mid-September, then when apparently ready to purchase, you went silent. If you wish to decline the offer, say so.

Can you do this swap into a wagon? And if so does it bolt right in? I know there will have to be some jerry rigging here and there but is it pretty close to a direct fit up?

Im not an interested buyer at the moment Im more just curious because I hoping to do this swap at some point in the next year.

Thanks.
