My car keeps throwing a check engine light. The code reader says it was a communications bus failure or something similar. I bought another ECU hoping that would fix it but it came back. So now I have a second good ECU. maybe I should start a thread on the issue but I wonder if anyone has seen this before?

The Cali cars have a module under the drivers knee bolster that controls the CEL and emissions functions. Looks like a MAS relay.
