ANYONE have 140/215 wheels on their 124/210?
I know this should be on the Wheel & Tire forum - but it will get maximum attention here.
I'm looking at a set of wheels and tires that have been mounted and driven on an E430. The wheels look (to me) like the 5-split spoke wheels from a CL500. 1) Was this style of wheel ever used on a E430 as original equipment or dealer option? 2) The seller has definitely used these wheels on his E-class. Does this pose any problems? Does anyone currently run wheels from a 215 (CL500 or 600) on their W124 or W210? I see this debate all the time on the wheel & tire forum, but I want to KNOW if anyone is running this setup. Please help - I need new wheels / tires and this looks like a great deal, and in my neighborhood too. Regards, Troy K. 1995 E420 85k |

I wouldn't even consider using the wrong parts on the wrong car so I have no experience. I am of the opinion that 140 lug bolts are larger in diameter though.
