Do my wheels need to be re-aligned if I get new rims?

I'm thinking about putting some aftermarket rims on my 1992 190E 2.3. I currently have the OEM wheels on it which are 15x6 and have an offset of 49mm. I'm thinking of putting on a set of 15x6.5 Borbet wheels that have an offset of 40mm. Since the Borbet wheels are 1/2" wider will I have to get the wheels re-aligned?

Since I live in Wisconsin I'd like to put the OEM wheels back on in the winter so that the new wheels don't get covered in salt and slush. If the wheels would have to be re-aligned each time I switch them it wouldn't be cost-effective or very convenient. Any thoughts? Thanks!

no need for an alignment just because you are changing the wheels
