Ronal made Bundt wheels?

A while ago I picked up some 6.5J14 ET30 Bundt wheels from a junkyard for my sister's car. They are in decent shape, though not show-car worthy (which is ok for us). After I got them home and cleaned off a bit, I noticed that they are made by Ronal. These have the markings stamped right on the face of the wheel (2 by the lugs and 2 near the lip, depending on date code) which I never seen on any other mercedes with Bundt wheels. I've been checking out every set I see since I bought these, but haven't seen another like it, they are all marked on the back of the wheel, and I believe made by Fuchs.
I also noticed that the spoke (rib?) design is slightly different. Two are angular and larger (date code 83), two are more faceted and shorter (date code 81). That's ok, it is hard to notice unless the wheels are right next to each other, but why?

Anyone know anything about these? Are these aftermaket copies or was Ronal making bundt wheels for Mercedes?
Here are pics of the two types I have:
Wheel 1
Wheel 2

Either way we're keeping them and putting them on when she can afford tyres, I was just curious.

Yup. I have a set on my 123. They aren't painted the correct color of silver but they still look pertty good.

Got the set of 4 for $125 from a Craigslist ad...they were still in the box.

Thanks, I was curious. I don't know how I missed that thread while searching.

If anyone is still looking for a set of these rims, (Ronal Bundt-alikes) here is a set for sale on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-14-x-6-5J-OEM-Ronal-Wheels-107-380-450-SL-SLC_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43954QQihZ019QQitemZ290167503018QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

Or search for item #: 290167503018

I'm having one HELL of a time finding some of the Ronal Penta-likes... I've been looking almost everyday for like 2 months. I'll take 'em in 15x7 or 16x8. I know both will fit on my 82' 300D, but all the ones I'm finding have the GM bolt pattern (either 4.25" or 4.75"/120mm).

Yes, back in the early '80s there were lots of Bundt "replicas" for sale.

I bought a set from Euro Tire, at the time a regular Road and Track advertiser, and they were Ronals.

Both our current cars have Ronal-produced wheels as original equipment, the W211 wheels made in Poland, the X164 wheels made in Mexico. For the GL I have an identical second set for snow tires that are made in USA.

Back in the days of Bundts, the original equipment wheels were forged and very expensive. Replicas of course were cast and much cheaper. Mercedes finally gave up on forged wheels ~1987. The first couple years W124 wheels were forged, but after that all were cast.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

The wheels that were introduced in the 60's for the W113 car as a option where manufactured as a forged wheel from the German manufacturer, Fuchs. Fuchs would go on to make the penta style wheel that would appear on many Porsche 911 cars. The "bundt" name came from the idea that they look like a bakers form for a bunt cake. Also know as "Mexican hat".
The inhouse name escapes me other than 14" alloy as they were the only option upgrade for W113 and early W107 cars (an upgrade from the steel wheels- which were preferred by many because of the poor quality of country roads in Germany at that time.)!
