123's Show your wheels

The wheel finish on my 1985 300D are all worn away from the PO's automatic car washing's, all 20 years of them
So I need some ideas on wheels/tire combo's

**Also has anyone purchased wheels from the company called Adsit in Muncie IN?
They advertise in car mags for alot of MB parts but they dont have any good pix of there wheels. The wheels in there catalog dont seem to have any luster like the orig. one in my trunk [never used]
Thanks

I can't rule out the fact that one day I might not mind Ronals on the wagon, but other than that, Hubcaps Rule!!

I've ordered parts from adsit before. The were very professional, went above and beyond my expectations. I wouldn't buy from them again though, now that I know about much cheaper avenues for obtaining parts. Many people find nice bundts in salvage yards; collecting one spare tire from the trunk at a time.

When it comes to different wheels fitting, you'll never know until you test fit. Many people told me 2004 CLK 17" AMG wheels (given to me) would never fit on my 107SL. I've been happily proving them wrong for 4 years now.

Here's what I've gone through in the last 6 months...

Before I sold them to theDon:

My old 300CD on CLS 18's:

My 280CE on CLK 16's:

I left out the pics of Bundts as I'm sure you can figure that out. I had some BBS RS 2-piece wheels but sold them...they looked a little dated for my car I thought.

the guy told me they were CLK but I have heard different. they come up a lot on craigslist. they are 16 x 6.5 or 7 and have 35mm offset. i had to file the burr off of the drag link on the passenger side so it wouldnt rub but otherwise lock to lock they are fine with no spacers. tires are 205/55/R16
