Doubling up spacers

I already have 1" spacers in the back, but my wheels are still not flush with the fenders. Would it be ok to add another 1" spacer on each side instead of buying 2" spacers?

wheel offset adjusting type "spacers" or spring type spacers?

Generally I recall that wheel offset spacers don't offer the most optimum solution to adding aftermarket wheels (and have negatives associated with them). The best solution is to use correctly offset wheels (without these spacers). If this is true, adding another spacer would doubly provide a non-optimum scenario. Your thoughts? How hard do you drive the car?

Spring type spacers (between the coils)/ spring pads (between spring and frame/body) probably wouldn't address the 'wheels not coming out flush to the fenders' subject nor the rear camber correction subject either

good luck & hope this helps.

I'm trying to get my wheels to stick out further so they'll be flush with my fenders... Instead of buying 2" spacers I was wondering if I could just add another 1" spacer on each side. Is there a problem with this?

Something I would mos def avoid. If you do a search about spacers, you will see all the bashing they have gone through. The problem is the wheels doesn't sit on the hub, so the lateral stress is all put on the lug nuts. I would recommend that you not push past the 1" just vecause most lugs bolts don't have an extra 2" of thread to spare. Just think thats how much less is going into the hub.
