will SLK230 wheels fit my '95 E320 ?

will the factory OEM staggered wheels off the SLK fit my '95 e320 ? they are 16x7 in the front and 16x8 in the rear. Car is lowered with eibach springs. I'm looking at these:

Does 205/55/16 for front and 225/50/16 for rear sound right?

Well, I was the seller of those wheels. To Be honest in any w201 and w124, the 16x8 would be a tough fit in either. The 16x8 has an ET of 30. I had a lowered 190E 2.6 and they rubbed a little. I had my fenders rolled, and it just cleared. With the car lowered, it rubbed just the slightest ever on dips, and I even put the hieghest height shim on top of the Eibach Springs. Now remember that was up front where things usually rub first because I couldn't get the 16x7s to clear my 400E calipers. (Now I believe that might be an issue on 93-95 models, not sure though.)

So this Leads me to believe if you have a good set of shocks and struts, a real good fender roll, and an un-lowered car, you will beat the odds of most 16x8s rubbing. Although their are a few owners running 16x8s all the way around on both w201 and w124, its a rarity.

The Proper tire sizes would have been 205/55/16 up front, and 225/50/16. However, they did get sold. If you are looking for a nice set of wheels, I am selling the 16x7.5ET40 8-hole replica wheels I purchased from Luke last Fall, all with tires (215/50/16.) Wider then then the 205/55/16s for w124, and wide enough that if lowered, the 215/50/16 won't rub.) They are all-season tires, and 3 are brand new, less then 3000 miles now, while the other has about half life. I will probably put a new on one if I sell them.

Ebay Auction

There is the link, I am dropping the asking price down to the $599. Considering I sold the SLk wheels for $480 w/o tires, Its a steal because they have been used and that one wheel with curb rash.

They are still in use. I need the money to put toward the new ones. So let me know.

Thanks, Charlie.
