Tire pressure
I have a 500SL with 245-40-18 front and rear. How do I find out the best air pressure for city and high speed driving.

Gas cap location lists MB recc'd pressures both reg duty and high speed duty
beyond that, fill to your riding taste (cold pressures) while adhering to max tire psi (try also to maintain the psi bias % front to back as recc by MB) fyi- making the tire harder by +++psi may increase risk of bending an 18'er on a nasty pothole or worse addtionally a tire blow-out (all things considered) hope this helps -fad
