I have 2 questions related to my 1997 E420:

1-will the 1998+ E55 REAR brake rotors fit on my car?
2-where can I buy these REAR rotors (crossed drilled w/ Brembo core)

goto the performance section, they will help you shed some light on this topic. Usually they won't unless the E55 uses the same rear brake setup as the other E-class cars.

My guess would be no, cause usually I would think that AMG upgrades front and rear brakes....So I would make sure.
