hello all, is there a difference in wheel size or offset between early w210 (1996-1999) vs. late w210 (2000-2002)?

i'd like to put a set of the 17" 2000+ e430 wheels on my 1997 e300, but can't find a confirmation anywhere that they will fit. i don't want to spend the money only to find they don't fit, or the offset is wrong and makes them look funny.

everyone selling these wheels advertises them as being for "2000 - 2003" w210.

i guess i'm just looking to confirm or deny that any w210 wheels will fit any year of w210. thanks

Yes, they'll fit.

That said, I would STRONGLY encourage you to replace your lug bolts, unless you have already done so. Those extended-shank things have a tendency to weaken and shear off when you are trying to remove them. (MB stopped making them a few years ago.)

perfect thanks. yes i have experienced the extended-shank lug failure already, and replaced all 20 bolts with the shorter "normal" style ones.
