w140 vibration on 80km

Dears,

i think the vibration on w140 especially on 80's km is well known,i have read many posts about such issue with other w140 owners so last week i got a new tires and they were balanced but the problem was still exist so i change the front stabilizers and bushing still no change so i dont want to spend money on other parts that i am not sure about is there any one found the main cause of this vibration?

Check the wheel alignment if they are properly aligned. You can do this by putting the wheel in a computer monitored testing machine than do it manually.

i has this problem..... turned out when i got new tires.. the installer cut the rubber valve stems... and left the piece inside the tire... took it to someone else who said it woudl be impossible to balance them accurately...

that said , i still have the vibration at about 55 mph.... i am going to repack the front wheel bearings at some point.....

get a pry bar and check the lower control arm bushings and the lower ball joints too, there is a high chance the hydraulic bushings are shot and a slightly lower chance that the lower ball joint is shot too.

Its the same fault the W210 face.
