bringstone turanza - noisy at high speeds?!

'91 300E ....

I just got 4 new Bridgestone Turanza tires on my 4 new Mille Bello 16x7.5 wheels. I'm happy with the handling but, was wondering if its normal to have road noise at 60MPH and higher ...... do these tires take some time to settle down? (I currently have about 150 miles on these 4 tires)

BTW, I have checked the lug nuts and they are really tight .... also had an alignment done right after mounting the tires (the tires came balanced from tirerack.com - thanks Luke!)

Comments? Thanks!

have you checked the air pressure .... higher pressure could lead to more road noise

Give 'em time to settle in.

I have speed rated Bridgestone Potenza RE950's on my '98 Crown Vic Police Interceptor. As with all tires, they do need to 'break in', though your road noise may be a 'perception' issue, as worn tires are quieter as they loose their tread. What you gain in safety and performance, should outweigh increased road noise.
